| Go offline on your trips, with Google Maps Posted: 07 Jul 2011 09:59 AM PDT Google Maps now allows you to select a location and download the map area within a 10 mile square. Perfect for short trips with bad signal. Esp. those downtowns with tall buildings. And it saves save battery too. If you are planning a vacation, the new Google Maps lets you use public transit and receive the stop by stop directions along the way too. All we now need is a voice enabled tour guide to make those vacations ... read tip.
